UHU PLUS ECO POWER is a universal, high-strength two-component epoxy adhesive with 50% bio-based content for bonding metals, ceramics, porcelain, glass, wood, concrete, stone, and many plastics. It offers excellent temperature, water, and chemical resistance.

Materials

Suitable for metals, ceramics, porcelain, glass, wood, concrete, stone, and many common plastics (e.g., rigid PVC, ABS, polyester, polystyrene, acrylic glass (PMMA), Bakelite), as well as glass- or carbon fiber-reinforced plastics. Not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®), and silicone rubber.

Processing

Insert the cartridge into the dispensing device, remove the cartridge seal, and dispense material until components emerge from both openings. Clean the outlet openings and screw on the static mixer. The first few centimeters of the adhesive bead should be discarded. The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. Smooth surfaces should be roughened beforehand. Insert the cartridge into the dispensing device, remove the cartridge seal, and dispense material until components emerge from both openings. Clean the outlet openings and screw on the static mixer. The first few centimeters of the adhesive bead should be discarded. Apply the adhesive thinly and evenly on one side and join the parts immediately. If necessary, fix them to prevent slipping. The working time at room temperature (+20 °C) is approximately 45 minutes, functional strength is achieved after about 10 hours, and more than 80% of the final strength after about 24 hours. After use, unscrew the mixer, clean the outlet openings, and seal the cartridge. Store the cartridge upright in a cool, dry place. Do not use at temperatures below +5 °C.
