Wood glues are adhesives suited for the bonding and joining of wood, wooden materials and cork with themselves or among each other, but also (some) other natural materials (cardboard/paper, textiles etc.). Wood and wooden materials “work” under a variety of different temperature and humidity conditions, which means that wood glues must create a strong, but also flexible joining of the adherends.
